As part of the June 2025 SayPro Monthly Career Development series, the SayPro Development Strategic Partnerships Office, under the leadership of the SayPro Development Royalty, launches a focused leadership development programme titled “Create a Pipeline for Future Leaders.” This initiative is designed to build a sustainable and future-ready leadership structure by identifying, nurturing, and preparing high-potential employees for greater responsibility within the organisation.
Programme Objective:
To systematically prepare emerging leaders to take on strategic roles in SayPro through mentorship, capacity-building, and exposure to leadership responsibilities, thereby ensuring continuity, institutional knowledge retention, and organisational resilience.
Programme Structure
- Leadership Readiness Assessments
- Identify high-potential individuals across departments
- Use of 360-degree evaluations, personality assessments, and leadership potential indicators
- Career mapping aligned with SayPro’s long-term talent strategy
- Structured Leadership Training
- Core topics: Vision-setting, people management, decision-making, ethical leadership, and change management
- Weekly workshops facilitated by SayPro executives and external leadership coaches
- Experiential learning through leadership simulations and role-play exercises
- Mentorship and Shadowing Opportunities
- Pairing candidates with SayPro senior leaders for monthly mentoring
- Shadowing opportunities during strategic meetings, events, and programme reviews
- Learning by observing decision-making processes and organisational leadership culture
- Strategic Projects and Stretch Assignments
- Assignments requiring cross-functional leadership and strategic thinking
- Candidates take the lead on short-term projects, pilot initiatives, or task teams
