Overview:
New sponsor acquisition is a strategic outreach initiative aimed at attracting fresh corporate, nonprofit, and governmental partners. These potential sponsors may not have supported SayPro before, but through effective research, alignment mapping, and targeted proposals, they can be converted into key contributors to the SayPro Festival.
This process ensures that SayPro:
- Diversifies its sponsorship sources.
- Builds relevance-based partnerships.
- Continues to grow its sponsorship portfolio year-on-year.
Strategic Goals:
- Identify at least 30 new high-potential sponsor prospects.
- Convert at least 10 new sponsors for the current festival cycle.
- Achieve at least 30% of the sponsorship revenue target from newly acquired sponsors.
- Establish long-term engagement pipelines for future events and campaigns.
Core Activities:
1. Define Sponsor Alignment Criteria
- Assess what makes a good sponsor match for SayPro Festival:
- Target audience (youth, professionals, families, creatives, entrepreneurs).
- Values (education, innovation, community development, arts, technology, inclusion).
- Products/services relevant to attendees.
- Social responsibility and brand positioning.
2. Conduct Targeted Research
