By completing the registration process and submitting the required forms, all participants and their parents or legal guardian agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this document.
This agreement ensures that all participants are aware of the competition’s expectations, eligibility criteria, and rules, promoting a fair and enjoyable experience for every child involved.
1. Eligibility Requirements
To ensure the competition is fair and suitable for all participants, the following eligibility criteria must be met:
Age Group:
The competition is open to pre-school-aged children (ages 3 to 5 years old). Participants must be within this age range on the day of the competition.

No Previous Professional Experience:
This competition is designed for young, non-professional singers. Children who have extensive experience in professional performances (e.g., as a contracted singer or actor in paid performances) may not be eligible to participate.
2. Registration Process
Submission Deadline:
All registration forms must be submitted by \[Insert Date]. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Required Documents:
Participants must complete and submit the following documents:

Registration Fees:
A non-refundable registration fee of \[Insert Amount] may be required at the time of registration to cover administrative costs. Payment details will be provided at the time of registration.
3. Performance Standards
Participants are expected to adhere to the following performance guidelines:
Song Selection:
Participants must choose a song appropriate for preschool-aged children. The song should be simple, educational, fun, and relevant to the child’s interests or cultural background.
The song must be performed in its entirety. If a song is too long, participants may be asked to perform only a section of it (usually 1-3 minutes in length).
Accompaniment:
A cappella performances (singing without music) are permitted, but if the child prefers to sing with accompaniment, parents may provide recorded backing tracks or an instrumental version of the song.
No live musical instruments or accompaniment will be provided by SayPro staff during the competition.
Performance Style:
The child is encouraged to express themselves creatively through their performance. This can include gestures, simple movements, or dancing.
Props and costumes are optional but must be safe, non-distracting, and appropriate for the child’s age.
Stage Etiquette:
The child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the stage area and remain within the event’s designated space throughout the performance.
Participants should be ready to perform at the scheduled time. Delays or no-shows may result in disqualification.
4. Judging Criteria
The competition’s judging panel will assess each performance based on the following criteria:
Vocal Clarity and Expression:
How clear and understandable is the child’s voice? Does the child express emotion and energy through their singing?
Creativity and Engagement:
Does the child show creativity in their performance? Do they engage the audience and bring personal flair to the song?
Overall Performance:
How well does the child stay on tune, maintain rhythm, and deliver the song from start to finish?
Adherence to Guidelines:
Does the performance follow the event’s rules and guidelines, including song length, appropriate content, and performance style?
5. Media and Promotional Use
By participating in the competition, parents/guardians agree to the following:
Consent for Media Use:
SayPro reserves the right to use photos, videos, and recordings of the child’s performance for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertisements, and educational resources.
Parents must complete the SayPro Consent Form to grant permission for this media use. Without this consent, the child will not be eligible for participation in the competition.
Recording of Performances:
Performances may be recorded for archival purposes or future events. These recordings will be used exclusively for non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Safety and Conduct
The safety and well-being of all participants is a top priority. By participating, parents/guardians agree to:

Any child who is feeling unwell or is unable to perform for health reasons should notify SayPro organizers immediately. In such cases, participants may be allowed to withdraw or reschedule.
