You will bejudged in several key areas during the competition:
1.Vocal Performance: Your ability to deliver the song(s) with vocal clarity, control, pitch accuracy, and emotional depth. The judges will be assessing how well you execute the vocal techniques and how effectively you communicate the message or emotion of the song.
2.Stage Presence: The way you carry yourself on stage will be key. Your stage presence will be judged based on your ability to captivate the audience’s attention, maintain confidence while performing, and showcase charisma throughout your act. This includes how you move, posture, and connect with the audience visually.
3.Creativity: The originality you bring to your performance will be critical. This can include innovative song arrangements, creative interpretations of lyrics, or unique performance choices that stand out from the ordinary. You can add your personal twist, making your performance memorable and distinctive.
4.Engagement with the Audience: The level of interaction you have with the audience is crucial. Judges will consider how well you draw the audience into your performance, maintain their attention, and evoke an emotional or energetic response. This could include eye contact, using the stage space effectively, and even engaging with the audience verbally, if appropriate.

2.Stage Confidence: You must feel comfortable and confident performing in front of an audience. This includes managing any nerves, projecting self-assurance, and making sure your performance feels natural and fluid. The ability to be confident in your abilities will greatly influence how the audience and judges perceive your performance.
3.Creativity in Song Choice or Performance Interpretation: Creativity is a critical aspect of the competition. Contestants are encouraged to think outside the box when selecting songs or interpreting them. Whether it’s reimagining a classic song with a new arrangement or selecting an unexpected song that aligns with the theme, your creativity will be a distinguishing factor.

2.Rehearsal Time: The amount of rehearsal time will vary based on your proficiency and comfort level. Novice contestants might require more practice to perfect their vocal techniques or stage presence, while seasoned performers might only need a few practice sessions to fine-tune their act.
3.Performance Refinement: Beyond the initial rehearsals, you may need to refine aspects of your performance, especially after receiving feedback from coaches or fellow contestants. This could involve adjustments in vocal delivery, stage movements, or performance style.
4.Time Commitment: Contestants should expect to spend anywhere from several hours to multiple weeks in preparation, depending on the complexity of the performance and the time available before the competition.
The balance of preparation time, creativity, and performance effort will determine the overall level of competition, and the time invested will significantly influence how effectively you can bring your best performance to the stage.
