SayPro successfully provided Youth Mobilization services to three individuals on March 31, 2025, in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of Social Development.

Details of the Youth Mobilization Initiative:

1. Purpose and Objectives:

The initiative aimed to empower young individuals by:

• Enhancing their awareness of available social and economic opportunities.
• Providing guidance and support in accessing education, employment, and entrepreneurial pathways.
• Encouraging community engagement and active participation in social development programs.
• Strengthening their capacity for personal and professional growth through mentorship and skill-building sessions.

2. Participants & Beneficiaries:

• Three young individuals were identified and supported through this program.
• They were engaged in discussions tailored to their specific needs, challenges, and aspirations.
• Each participant received personalized guidance on career planning, social empowerment, and access to governmental and non-governmental resources.

3. Partnership with Gauteng Department of Social Development:

The Gauteng Department of Social Development played a key role by:

• Providing logistical support and access to relevant youth development programs.
• Facilitating linkages to social welfare services and economic opportunities.
• Supporting the initiative with experienced mentors and social workers to assist participants.

4. Activities Conducted:

• One-on-one counseling sessions to assess participants’ current situation and aspirations.
• Workshops on personal development, including leadership, goal-setting, and confidence-building.
• Career guidance and skills assessment, helping participants explore educational and job opportunities.
