SayPro Delivers Life Skills Training to Beneficiaries in Partnership with Gauteng Department of Social Development
On 19 March 2025, SayPro, in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of Social Development, successfully conducted a Life Skills training session aimed at empowering individuals with essential skills to improve their personal and professional lives. The training session benefited three participants, each selected based on their need for personal development and capacity-building support.
The Life Skills programme focused on key areas such as:
- Effective Communication
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving
- Goal Setting
- Emotional Intelligence
- Self-Awareness and Confidence Building
- Interpersonal Relationship Skills
- Basic Financial Literacy
The session was facilitated by experienced SayPro trainers, who used interactive methods, including group discussions, role-playing activities, and real-life scenario exercises, to ensure that participants actively engaged with the content.
This initiative forms part of SayPro’s ongoing commitment to fostering personal growth, social responsibility, and economic empowerment within communities. By partnering with the Gauteng Department of Social Development, SayPro ensures alignment with broader provincial strategies aimed at social upliftment and reducing vulnerabilities among community members.
The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, with individuals expressing gratitude for the practical skills and knowledge they gained. Each participant received a certificate of completion and was encouraged to apply the skills in their daily lives, contributing positively to their families and communities.
SayPro looks forward to continuing this partnership with the Gauteng Department of Social Development and extending similar opportunities to more individuals in the future.
