Responsibilities:

1. Ensure Alignment of Resource Mobilization with Strategic Goals:
   • Work closely with the Resource Mobilization Officer to ensure that all resource mobilization efforts are aligned with SayPro’s broader strategic goals, including long-term development plans, program priorities, and organizational vision.
   • Regularly review and assess resource mobilization strategies to confirm that they contribute to the achievement of SayPro’s mission and strategic objectives, ensuring that mobilized resources are allocated to areas of greatest need and impact.
   • Collaborate with leadership teams to integrate resource mobilization activities with SayPro’s development initiatives and programmatic goals, ensuring seamless coordination across all levels of the organization.
2. Coordinate Resource Mobilization Campaigns and Initiatives:
   • Oversee the planning and execution of resource mobilization campaigns (e.g., fundraising events, grant applications, donation drives) that are aligned with SayPro’s current and future project goals.
   • Ensure that resource mobilization campaigns support ongoing projects and contribute to the sustainability of programs by securing the necessary resources for continued impact.
   • Work with the Communications Officer and Resource Mobilization Officer to promote campaigns in a way that highlights how the resources mobilized will directly benefit SayPro’s strategic initiatives.
3. Monitor and Report on Resource Allocation:
   • Oversee the allocation of mobilized resources to ensure they are used effectively in alignment with SayPro’s strategic priorities. This involves regularly tracking the distribution and utilization of funds, in-kind donations, volunteer hours, and other resources.
   • Work closely with the Impact and Outcome Assessment Specialist to evaluate how resources are being utilized and whether they are helping to achieve the desired outcomes as outlined in SayPro’s development plans.
   • Prepare regular reports and updates for stakeholders, including leadership and funders, on how mobilized resources are contributing to the success of key initiatives.
4. Ensure Efficient and Strategic Use of Mobilized Resources:
   • Collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure that mobilized resources are used efficiently and strategically, avoiding waste and ensuring maximum impact.
   • Align resource allocation with program priorities, ensuring that critical initiatives have the necessary resources to thrive while maintaining flexibility for future opportunities.
   • Use data and feedback from Impact and Outcome Assessments to make adjustments to resource mobilization efforts, ensuring resources are continuously directed to the most impactful areas.
5. Collaborate with Internal Teams to Optimize Resource Mobilization Efforts:
   • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring that teams involved in program delivery, fundraising, and communications work in sync to achieve resource mobilization and programmatic goals.
   • Work with departments to integrate resource mobilization efforts into program design and project implementation, ensuring that resource needs are anticipated and met in line with program timelines and objectives.
6. Foster Strategic Partnerships for Resource Mobilization:
   • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with organizations, corporations, government bodies, and other stakeholders that align with SayPro’s mission and contribute to resource mobilization.
   • Establish mutually beneficial relationships that support the long-term sustainability of SayPro’s programs and initiatives, including collaborative efforts to mobilize funding, in-kind donations, and other forms of support.
7. Assess and Adjust Mobilization Strategies Based on Data:
   • Use feedback from the Data Analyst and Impact and Outcome Assessment Specialist to assess the effectiveness of resource mobilization efforts in meeting SayPro’s strategic goals.
   • Analyze performance metrics, donor feedback, and program outcomes to refine and improve resource mobilization strategies, ensuring they remain responsive to SayPro’s evolving needs and goals.
8. Oversee Resource Mobilization Budget:
   • Ensure that resource mobilization efforts remain within budgetary constraints, allocating funds appropriately to maximize programmatic impact and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
   • Work with the Finance Officer to track expenses related to resource mobilization campaigns and ensure they align with the approved budget for each initiative.
9. Ensure Stakeholder Engagement and Buy-In:
   • Regularly engage key stakeholders (donors, partners, volunteers, etc.) to keep them informed of how their contributions are helping SayPro achieve its strategic goals.
   • Involve stakeholders in strategy development, keeping them informed about upcoming resource needs and opportunities for collaboration that align with SayPro’s vision and long-term objectives.
10. Maintain Flexibility to Adapt to Changing Priorities:
    • Stay attuned to changes in the external environment, such as shifts in donor interests, economic conditions, or community needs, and adjust resource mobilization strategies accordingly.
    • Ensure that the resource mobilization approach remains flexible and adaptable, allowing SayPro to adjust to new challenges or opportunities that may arise while staying aligned with the organization’s overall strategic framework.
11. Support Long-Term Sustainability of Resource Mobilization:
    • Develop strategies for sustaining resource mobilization efforts over the long term, focusing on building a diverse funding base that supports SayPro’s ongoing work and growth.
    • Work with the Resource Mobilization Officer and leadership to plan for the future scalability of mobilization strategies, ensuring SayPro can continue to meet its strategic goals as it expands its reach and impact.
