SayPro Participant Progress Assessment and Feedback Collection Plan

Program: SayPro Monthly May Edition (SCDR-4)
Focus Area: Life Skills & Social Skills Development
Organized by: SayPro Camps Office
Under: SayPro Development Royalty
Task: Evaluate participant progress through pre- and post-session surveys, quizzes, and one-on-one feedback sessions.
Deadline: 31 May 2025
Expected Outcome: Comprehensive feedback and assessment to evaluate individual and overall program success.

๐ŸŽฏ Objective

The goal of this task is to assess each participant’s growth and progress throughout the SayPro program by gathering quantitative and qualitative data through structured surveys, quizzes, and personalized feedback. The assessment will provide valuable insights into both individual skill development and the overall effectiveness of the program.

๐Ÿงฉ Assessment Structure

1. Pre-Session Surveys (Initial Assessment)

Before the program begins, participants will complete a Pre-Session Survey to measure their initial levels of key life and social skills. This will help to identify baseline data, providing a foundation for comparison later in the program.

  • Topics Covered:
    • Self-awareness (e.g., โ€œHow confident do you feel in social situations?โ€)
    • Communication Skills (e.g., โ€œHow comfortable are you speaking in front of a group?โ€)
    • Problem-Solving Ability (e.g., โ€œHow often do you seek solutions in difficult situations?โ€)
    • Teamwork and Collaboration (e.g., โ€œHow well do you work with others in group activities?โ€)
  • Format: Multiple-choice and Likert-scale questions (e.g., “Strongly Agree” to “Strongly Disagree”).
  • Purpose: Establish a baseline understanding of each participantโ€™s strengths and areas for improvement, allowing for targeted interventions and tracking of progress.

2. Post-Session Surveys (Ongoing Progress Evaluation)

After each workshop, participants will complete a Post-Session Survey to evaluate their immediate takeaways from the session and to gather feedback on the session’s content, structure, and delivery.

  • Topics Covered:
    • Session Impact (e.g., โ€œI learned something new that will help me in everyday life.โ€)
    • Engagement Level (e.g., โ€œI felt actively engaged in todayโ€™s activities.โ€)
    • Application of Skills (e.g., โ€œI am confident I can apply what I learned today in real-life situations.โ€)
  • Format: Combination of multiple-choice, Likert scale, and open-ended questions for in-depth feedback.
  • Purpose: Continuously measure the effectiveness of each session and identify areas where the facilitator can improve content or delivery. Also, assess how well participants grasp and internalize new skills.

3. Quizzes (Knowledge and Skill Check)

Throughout the program, quizzes will be administered at key points (e.g., after learning specific skills like conflict resolution or communication) to test the participantsโ€™ retention of the material covered.

  • Types of Quizzes:
    • Knowledge-Based: Multiple-choice questions to assess understanding of concepts (e.g., โ€œWhich of the following is an example of active listening?โ€).
    • Scenario-Based: Short-answer or multiple-choice questions where participants answer based on real-life scenarios (e.g., โ€œHow would you handle a conflict at school?โ€).
    • Skill Application: True/False questions to assess the application of learned skills (e.g., โ€œIf you disagree with a team member, itโ€™s best to stay quiet to avoid confrontationโ€ โ€“ True or False).
  • Purpose: Ensure participants understand the core concepts of each session and reinforce their learning.

4. One-on-One Feedback Sessions (Personalized Assessment)

One-on-one feedback sessions will be scheduled at key points throughout the program (e.g., mid-way and at the end) to offer personalized feedback on participants’ progress. These sessions will be conducted by facilitators or mentors to allow participants to reflect on their growth, ask questions, and receive constructive feedback.

  • Purpose:
    • To give personalized feedback on a participantโ€™s strengths and areas for improvement.
    • To understand any challenges the participant may be facing and offer guidance.
    • To motivate and encourage participants to continue developing their skills beyond the program.
  • Format:
    • Participants will answer reflection questions (e.g., โ€œWhat skills do you feel youโ€™ve developed most during this program?โ€).
    • Facilitators will provide feedback based on observations, surveys, and quiz results, and discuss progress toward personal goals.
    • Action Plan: Facilitators will work with participants to set goals for the rest of the program and beyond.
