1. Opening and Purpose

  • The meeting was called by SayProCDR to discuss ongoing issues concerning the performance and attendance of certain Development Specialists.

2. Key Complaints and Discussions

2.1 Performance and Attendance Issues

  • Ralepelle raised serious concerns about:
    • Andrice Macuacua and Daniel Makano:
      • Frequently absent from work.
      • Do not complete assigned tasks.
      • Fail to follow instructions.
    • Macuacua, in particular, reportedly ignores assignments and shows a lack of understanding.
    • The Development team has not been recording or managing Neftaly Kingdom’s activities, which is a major gap in responsibility.

2.2 Task Refusal and Misconduct

  • Mpe reported that:
    • Macuacua was instructed to film daily activities for Neftaly Kingdom kids, which is part of his job description.
    • Macuacua says he is publishing the events.
    • Mpe then asked Mabotsaneng to assist with video recording, and she complied without issue.

2.3 Support from Other Staff

  • Regaugetswe confirmed ongoing issues:
    • Both Macuacua and Makano do not listen.
    • Frequently absent from work and fail to complete tasks.
    • They use WhatsApp for reporting instead of the Push platform, despite official instructions.
    • She stated she has tried to talk to them, but there has been no improvement.

3. Disciplinary Procedures and Policy Compliance

3.1 Importance of Warnings

  • Legodi emphasized that:
    • Proper disciplinary procedures must be followed.
    • Written warnings should have been issued earlier.
    • Without documented warnings, SayPro will have difficulty defending actions legally (e.g., if challenged at CCMA).
    • Any future actions must align with SayPro policy and evidence-based processes.

3.2 Recommendations

  • Rikhotso supported disciplinary action, stating that:
    • Daniel Makano should also receive a written warning.
    • Any grievances should follow the proper channel before reaching the board.
    • This was seconded by Legodi, who reinforced the importance of procedure.

4. Commitment to Policy and Fair Process

  • Ralepelle expressed appreciation for the feedback and agreed to handle matters according to SayPro procedures moving forward.
  • Legodi, in conclusion, stressed that:
    • Everyone must follow policy and procedure.
    • If someone fails to complete assigned work, a written warning must be issued.
    • This approach was again endorsed by Rikhotso.

5. Conclusion

  • It was agreed that:
    • Written warnings will be issued to Andrice Macuacua and Daniel Makano.
    • All staff must report any other commitments to SayProCDR, so appropriate action can be taken.
    • All future disciplinary actions will be supported with documented evidence and follow proper internal procedures.

6. Meeting Adjourned
