IMPORTANT: By signing this Media Release Form, the participant (or their parent/guardian if under 18) agrees to the recording, use, and distribution of their performance for promotional purposes by SayPro. This includes but is not limited to video/audio recording, broadcasting, and publishing on SayPro’s media platforms.

1. Consent to Record and Use Performance

1.1 Recording of Performance:
I, the undersigned, hereby grant SayPro, its affiliates, agents, representatives, and licensees permission to record my performance during the SayPro 01 January 17 | SCDR-3-45 | Development Quarterly Cultural Singing Competition (the “Event”). This includes all live, audio, video, and photographic recordings made during the event.

1.2 Right to Use Performance:
I agree that SayPro shall have the unrestricted, worldwide right to use my performance, including my name, likeness, voice, and performance, in all forms of media, including print, digital, broadcast, and social media, for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes.

2. Scope of Use

2.1 Promotional Use:
I consent to the use of my performance, including video or audio recordings, photographs, and my name, in promotional materials, including but not limited to:

SayPro’s website
SayPro’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Press releases and advertisements for the event
Television, radio, and online broadcasts of the Event or related content

2.2 Distribution and Broadcasting:
I acknowledge that my performance may be distributed, shared, and broadcast to the public across various platforms, including television, online streaming services, and social media channels, as determined by SayPro.

2.3 Duration of Use:
I understand that my consent for the use of my performance is perpetual and extends indefinitely into the future, unless otherwise specified in writing by SayPro.

3. Ownership and Copyright

3.1 Ownership of Content:
While I retain the copyright to my performance, I grant SayPro and its partners a royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, distribute, and display my recorded performance and related media in perpetuity.

3.2 No Financial Compensation:
I acknowledge that I will not receive any financial compensation or royalties for the use of my performance. I understand that this release is granted in exchange for the opportunity to participate in the SayPro Cultural Singing Competition and gain exposure through SayPro’s media platforms.

4. Acknowledgment and Release

4.1 Release of Liability:
I agree to release SayPro, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or damages that may arise from the use of my performance and media, including but not limited to claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of my right to publicity.

4.2 Consent of Parent/Guardian (if applicable):
If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign this form to provide consent for the participant’s involvement. By signing, the parent/guardian affirms their understanding of the terms and consents to the use of the participant’s performance as outlined.

5. Media Release Agreement

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this SayPro Media Release Form. I also confirm that I am voluntarily granting SayPro permission to use my performance for the purposes described above.

SayPro reserves the right to modify the scope of the use of the performance in accordance with these terms, including adjustments related to specific promotional activities.
