Deadline: 31 May 2025
Expected Outcome: At least 80% of participants show measurable improvement in key skills.

๐ŸŽฏ Objective

To assess and document the progress of each participant throughout the program, ensuring that at least 80% of participants show measurable improvement in key life skills and social competencies by the end of the program. The assessment will be comprehensive, involving pre- and post-session surveys, quizzes, and one-on-one feedback, providing a clear picture of individual development and overall program effectiveness.

๐Ÿงฉ Assessment Structure

1. Pre-Session Surveys (Initial Assessment)

These surveys will be administered at the start of the program to establish baseline data on each participantโ€™s skills in various areas. This will allow for the measurement of growth over the duration of the program.

  • Skills Assessed:
    • Self-awareness: Confidence in social situations, emotional awareness.
    • Communication: Comfort with verbal and non-verbal communication, listening skills.
    • Problem-solving: Ability to handle challenges and conflicts.
    • Collaboration: Willingness and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Survey Format: Likert scale (Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree) and multiple-choice questions.
    • Example question: โ€œI feel comfortable speaking up in group settings.โ€
  • Purpose: Establish initial skill levels so that improvements can be tracked over time.

2. Post-Session Surveys (Ongoing Feedback)

After each workshop, participants will complete a Post-Session Survey. This helps to measure the immediate impact of each session, capturing both the effectiveness of the workshop and how much participants feel theyโ€™ve improved in specific areas.

  • Skills Assessed:
    • Session Impact: How much participants feel theyโ€™ve learned.
    • Engagement: The degree to which participants felt involved and motivated.
    • Skill Application: How confident participants feel in applying what theyโ€™ve learned.
  • Survey Format: Likert scale, multiple-choice, and short answer questions.
    • Example question: โ€œAfter todayโ€™s workshop, I feel more confident in managing conflict.โ€
  • Purpose: Gather immediate feedback on each session to fine-tune future workshops and track progress in specific skill areas.

3. Quizzes (Knowledge and Skill Retention)

Quizzes will be administered periodically throughout the program to assess participants’ retention of key knowledge and their ability to apply skills learned in real-life scenarios.

  • Quiz Format:
    • Multiple-Choice: Questions on core concepts (e.g., communication strategies, problem-solving techniques).
    • Scenario-Based: Participants answer questions based on hypothetical situations (e.g., โ€œIf two team members disagree during a project, what is the best way to handle it?โ€).
    • True/False: Statements related to the skills covered (e.g., โ€œActive listening helps to resolve misunderstandingsโ€ – True or False).
  • Purpose: Evaluate participantsโ€™ understanding and ability to retain key concepts, ensuring that learning is being effectively internalized.

4. One-on-One Feedback Sessions (Personalized Development)

At key points throughout the program, one-on-one feedback sessions will be held with each participant. This will provide a more personalized and holistic view of their development, addressing both strengths and areas for improvement.

  • Content:
    • Reflection: Participants will be asked to reflect on their growth and identify areas they feel more confident in.
    • Progress Discussion: Facilitators will discuss the participantโ€™s progress, referring to the quizzes, surveys, and their own observations.
    • Goal Setting: Facilitators will help participants set goals for further growth, providing guidance on how to continue developing life and social skills.
  • Purpose: Provide individualized feedback, address any challenges, and ensure that participants are aware of their development.
