SayPro Recognition Nominations

Overview

As part of SayPro’s ongoing commitment to building a culture of appreciation, the organization invites all employees to participate in the Employee Recognition Program by nominating their colleagues for Employee of the Month and Employee of the Quarter awards. All nominations must be submitted via the SayPro online portal by the official deadline: August 20, 2025.


Purpose

  • To acknowledge and reward exceptional contributions made by employees.
  • To foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • To empower employees to recognize and appreciate the efforts of their peers.
  • To uphold and promote SayPro’s core values across all departments.

Key Deadlines

  • Nomination Deadline:
    🗓 August 20, 2025
    All nominations for the upcoming Employee of the Month (August) and Employee of the Quarter (Q3) must be submitted by this date. Late submissions will not be considered.

Who Can Nominate

  • All SayPro employees, volunteers, and interns are eligible to submit nominations.
  • Nominations can be submitted individually or jointly (as a team submission).

Who Can Be Nominated

  • Any SayPro staff member (full-time, part-time, or contract) who has:
    • Demonstrated exceptional performance
    • Shown strong teamwork and leadership
    • Contributed innovative ideas or solutions
    • Displayed commitment to SayPro’s mission and values
    • Supported and uplifted fellow team members

How to Submit a Nomination

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Access the SayPro Online Portal:
    Go to SayPro Employee Portal and log in using your employee credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Recognition Section:
    Click on “Recognition & Rewards” > “Submit a Nomination”.
  3. Choose the Award Type:
    Select either:
    • Employee of the Month
    • Employee of the Quarter
  4. Fill Out the Nomination Form:
    • Full name and department of the nominee
    • Specific accomplishments or contributions
    • A brief explanation (150–250 words) describing why the nominee deserves the award
    • Optional: Attach supporting documents (e.g., screenshots, letters of appreciation, photos)
  5. Submit and Confirm:
    Click “Submit Nomination.” You will receive an email confirmation once it is successfully recorded.

Evaluation Criteria

Nominations will be evaluated by the SayPro Recognition Committee based on:

  • Alignment with SayPro’s mission and core values
  • Impact of the employee’s work on their team, department, or community
  • Initiative, creativity, and leadership
  • Peer feedback and overall workplace conduct

Recognition & Awards

Employee of the Month

  • Certificate of Excellence
  • Gift voucher or token of appreciation
  • Featured profile on SayPro’s internal site and newsletter
  • Recognition during monthly staff meeting

Employee of the Quarter

  • Trophy or plaque
  • Cash award or higher-value gift
  • Public announcement on SayPro platforms (website, social media)
  • Invitation to SayPro’s quarterly recognition event or leadership luncheon

Important Reminders

  • Only one nomination per award cycle per nominator is allowed.
  • Anonymous or incomplete nominations will not be accepted.
  • Employees are encouraged to be specific and thoughtful in their submissions.
