Purpose

The SayPro Objective Setting initiative is designed to build the capacity of SayPro staff, volunteers, and partners to develop effective, measurable objectives for community projects and organizational initiatives. Through structured, interactive modules, participants are trained to craft SMART objectivesโ€”Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-boundโ€”that guide project planning, implementation, and evaluation.


Objectives of the Training

  • Introduce the SMART framework for setting objectives.
  • Strengthen participants’ ability to link community needs to realistic, impactful outcomes.
  • Provide hands-on practice in writing, reviewing, and refining project objectives.
  • Standardize objective-setting across SayPro regional offices and programs for consistency and clarity.
