SayPro Gameplay Review Logs – Detailed Guidelines
Purpose:
The SayPro Gameplay Review Logs are designed to help participants track their growth, reflect on their gameplay, and receive targeted feedback. These logs serve as personal performance diaries and are also used by coaches to monitor progress, provide insights, and tailor training plans.
1. Daily Gameplay Summary
What to include:
Dateand session number(if applicable).
Game titleand mode played(e.g., 5v5 Ranked, Custom Match, Practice).
Durationof the session.
Brief summary (3-5 sentences) of what happened during the gameplay.
Example:
> 2025-05-08 | Session 3 | Valorant – Competitive | 2.5 hours
> Today, I focused on improving my entry fragging as Raze. I had mixed success – some rounds I was too aggressive and got picked off early. I had good synergy with my team when we communicated well, especially on defense.
2. Individual Accomplishments
What to include:
Specific goals achieved(either personal or assigned).
Noteworthy kills, plays, or strategiesexecuted well.
Any rank progressionor measurable improvement (K/D, CS, accuracy, etc.).
Example:
> Achieved a 2.1 K/D ratio this session, my highest so far this week.
> Successfully clutched a 1v3 situation using smart positioning and utility.
> Improved my headshot percentage from 22% to 28%.
3. Challenges and Struggles
What to include:
Areas where performance was lacking or inconsistent.
Mistakes made or difficult situations encountered.
Recurring patterns of failure (e.g., poor map awareness, bad crosshair placement).
Example:
> I’m still struggling with crosshair placement on high ground targets.
> I died early in several rounds due to over-peeking corners without backup.
> Need to work on economic decisions — often buying when I should have saved.
4. Tactical and Strategic Review
What to include:
Analysis of team play: positioning, rotations, communication.
Review of enemy tactics and how they were countered (or not).
Adjustments made mid-game and their effectiveness.
Example:
> Enemy team used aggressive mid-control. Initially, we didn’t adapt well, but in the second half, we switched to playing deeper angles and punished their overextensions.
> Our lack of site utility delayed retakes. Will coordinate more with teammates to improve timing.
5. Feedback Received
What to include:
Key points from coach or peer reviews.
Screenshots or clips of reviewed moments (if applicable).
Suggestions for improvement and how they will be implemented.
Example:
> Coach pointed out that I often ADS in close-range fights — recommended hip-firing in those scenarios.
> Teammates suggested using my mic earlier when calling rotations.
> Plan to watch back VODs with a focus on utility usage.
6. Reflection and Action Plan
What to include:
Personal takeaways from the session.
A short action plan for the next session (1-2 goals).
Motivation or mindset commentary (optional).
Example:
> I realized I play best when I focus on one goal at a time. Next time, I’ll aim to stay alive in post-plant situations and use my utility more deliberately.
> Feeling more confident — I just need to stay patient during slow rounds.
Optional: Visual or Media Attachments
Screenshots of stats, in-game moments, or scoreboards.
Clip links (YouTube, Twitch, etc.) of key plays or mistakes.
