Position Title: Event Manager – Resource Management Expert – SCSPR-87

Department: Event Planning and Management
Reports to: SCSPR-87 Event Coordinator
Location: SayPro Corporate Office / Remote


Overview:

The Resource Management Expert Event Manager for the SayPro Monthly SCSPR-87 event will play a pivotal role in leading workshops and discussions centered on resource allocation and optimization within strategic partnerships. This individual will bring expert knowledge of resource management, guiding event participants through practical strategies to allocate and leverage resources effectively to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes in their strategic partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Workshop and Discussion Leadership:
    • Lead interactive workshops and panel discussions on best practices for resource allocation and optimization in strategic partnerships.
    • Facilitate discussions that explore practical tools and strategies for businesses to use their available resources (budgets, talent, technology, etc.) efficiently to maximize value in partnerships.
    • Engage with speakers, panelists, and participants to provide actionable insights into resource management, fostering collaborative problem-solving among attendees.
  2. Develop Resource Management Content:
    • Collaborate with the event content team to develop detailed presentation materials, guides, and case studies focused on resource management strategies.
    • Create and deliver content on optimizing the use of financial, human, and technological resources to support strategic partnerships.
    • Ensure that content is relevant, actionable, and tailored to various industries and partnership models.
  3. Coordinate Resource Management Sessions:
    • Oversee the schedule and organization of workshops, ensuring each session runs smoothly and that all participants have access to the necessary resources and tools.
    • Coordinate with the technical team to provide adequate support for interactive sessions (e.g., online collaboration tools, presentation software) and ensure seamless execution of the content.
    • Lead group exercises that allow participants to apply resource management principles to real-world strategic partnership scenarios.
  4. Provide One-on-One Consultation:
    • Offer personalized consultations during the event for participants who need assistance with resource management in their specific partnerships.
    • Guide participants in identifying inefficiencies in their current resource allocation and help them develop strategies to improve the utilization of resources in their strategic partnerships.
  5. Promote Collaborative Resource Sharing:
    • Encourage attendees to engage in peer-to-peer networking during sessions, sharing insights and resources to foster a culture of collaboration.
    • Highlight the importance of resource sharing in partnerships and provide examples of successful partnerships where resources have been effectively pooled for mutual benefit.
  6. Time and Budget Management for Resource Optimization:
    • Provide guidance on optimizing both time and budget in strategic partnerships, emphasizing efficiency and value creation.
    • Share methods for prioritizing resource investment based on long-term partnership goals, helping businesses achieve a high ROI.
  7. Post-Event Follow-up and Support:
    • Collect feedback on resource management workshops and discussions to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Follow up with participants to provide additional resources, tools, or recommendations to help them implement the strategies learned at the event.
    • Prepare post-event reports on the outcomes of the resource management sessions and provide key takeaways to enhance future events.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in resource management, strategic partnerships, or a related field, with expertise in optimizing resources across multiple types of partnerships (e.g., business, technology, or operational partnerships).
    • Strong background in leading workshops, training sessions, or seminars on resource allocation and partnership management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills to lead discussions and workshops effectively.
    • Deep understanding of resource optimization strategies and how they apply within different industries and partnership models.
    • Ability to simplify complex concepts related to resource management and make them actionable for a broad audience.
    • Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and event management platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Miro, Google Workspace).
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Resource Management, Strategic Planning, or a related field is preferred.
    • Professional certifications in project management or resource optimization are a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with diverse groups and foster meaningful discussions.
    • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design practical solutions for resource-related challenges.
    • A dynamic facilitator who can engage and inspire participants, helping them to think critically about resource management in strategic partnerships.
